This piece was painted in my first week back in Dallas after being in Madrid.
I was so confused about everything.
With culture shock.
It is hard to believe I have integrated into 3 cultures each one having changed and challenged my point of view as well as broadened my horizons.
However, no matter how many people you meet how many cultures you integrate to, it only proves how little you know.
Life goes up and down. Vigorously yanks you to one side then to the other.
In the end friends come and go...
Boyfriends come and go at an even faster speed...
But -you- remain -yourself-.
You can never change your soul.
It will mold a little differently but you will always be you.
